The raw material jute is one of the most sustainable rug materials. The plant grows fast, is abundant in nature and requires very little processing. Due to its antimicrobial properties, jute is strong and durable.

It is made in the punja kilim method. The word "kilim" refers to flat pile rugs that date back to Middle Eastern tradition. The telltale feature of a kilim is big geometric patterns. "Punja" is an Indian flatweaving technique that we used to create this particular kilim, derived from its namesake metallic claw-like tool.

HOW TO USE

CARE
