When Kate Bancks of @kgkstudio was tasked with designing the studio of personal stylist Sera Murphy @thereoutfitter, she knew the pieces had to embody Sera's core philosophy on fashion: sustainability. Sera sought Kate's expertise to help revamp her studio and complete her vision for an elevated, luxurious, and neutral space that reflected her style and values.

"There are plenty of professionals who say they are values-driven, but use it purely for a marketing tool. Sera is the rare kind of professional who actually centers her values in her work. Admittedly she loves clothes and knows their power for transformation but is the first to sound off on how the overproduction and overconsumption of clothing has harmed our planet. The process of purchasing a rug from LivingDNA was so smooth and fuss free. From shortlisting, home trial, and finalising the rug, took a mere 2 days, as the rug i was keen on was in stock. Liasing through whatsapp was also easy, where pictures, details, and suggestions were also provided to me.
