It can be made with premium New Zealand wool or silky soft Tencel, the rug is hand-tufted and hand-carved by skilled artisans to define the pattern with clarity and texture. Most of our customers have done this design in natural looking tone on tone colours to achieve a soft feel for their interiors. The design can be customised in size and colour.

CARE

All medium to high pile rugs shed naturally, especially when new. NZ Wool and Tencel have the least amount of shedding among all other yarn options. Vacuum clean your new rug lightly. Shedding will gradually reduce and end over time with regular use. Avoid using vacuum accessories with brushes or any abrasive surface; this can aggravate shedding. Read your vacuum cleaner manual, which may state specific accessories to avoid using for rugs.

To remove spills, use a clean cloth or dry paper towel to blot any liquid immediately. Loose ends should not be pulled, but snipped off with scissors instead. It is ideal to rotate your rugs every 6 months to even the process of wear and tear.

The custom Lumina Rug is a wonderful template to create a mosaic of shades that tie in with the living room’s colour palette. After a few trials, we settled on this repertoire and waited with bated breath, wondering how it would turn out. Finally, we know and we are loving it! High Quality Rug and Professional Service

We ordered a customised gradient rug after speaking to a couple of rug vendors. Living DNA recommended natural wool for our type of usage and the price it quoted was competitive. After the design was agreed upon, it was expeditiously delivered within schedule. However, a small error in the color of the design was spotted but Living DNA was agreeable to give us a replacement rug at no charge. The way they have handled the issue was very professional. We are pleased with the quality of the rug and the service level demonstrated by Living DNA. Highly recommended.

Perfect for a little girl’s room

Bought this rug a while back for my little girl’s room, and we’ve had many tea parties and fake picnics on it already. The ends are starting to fray a little, but nothing major and it still looks great and makes the space warmer - and softer :)

A true luxury rug that elevates my space!

Absolutely love this rug. It instantly elevates the room and gives it that hotel feel, while still keeping the warmth and personality of home. The texture underfoot is incredible, soft and indulgent without feeling delicate. The border detail is beautifully done and really shows the level of thought that’s gone into the design. The installation team were just as impressive, patient and meticulous until everything was perfectly in place. My second LivingDNA rug and definitely won’t be my last.

Still stunning after 3 years!

I’ve owned the Alchemy Cloud Cream Tencel Rug for nearly three years, and it is easily one of the best investments I’ve made for my home. Despite daily use, it has kept its beautiful silky sheen and remains incredibly soft underfoot.
It’s durable, hasn't lost its "cloud-like" luxury feel, and still looks as elegant as the day I bought it. If you're looking for a high-end rug that actually lasts, I can’t recommend this one enough!

I bought two carpets, one for the dining area and one for the living room. Both carpets match my furniture perfectly and blend well with the overall home theme.
